Welcome to Still Water Counseling Services and congratulations on taking this first step in your healing journey.
I am Heather Dupre, LCPC, a licensed professional counselor in the state of Maryland. I have over a decade of experience providing care to adults, teenagers, and children. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based. Our work will be driven by the goals you have for yourself as we problem solve, brainstorm, and collaborate with each other.
During your sessions, we will examine what brought you here through a lens of empathy, self-acceptance, and occasional humor. I believe in the healing power of laughter, the importance of positive relationships, and that to have successful relationships with others we must first have a successful relationship with ourselves.
Together we will unpack complex histories, manage challenging situations, find your strength, and begin walking the path towards a better tomorrow.
